Operação Paperclip
Originalmente chamada de Operação Overcast, a Operação Paperclip foi o nome de código da operação realizada pelo serviço de inteligência militar dos Estados Unidos para cooptar e levar aos Estados Unidos cientistas especializados em foguetes (V-1, V-2), eletro-gravitação, armas químicas, e medicina da Alemanha com o colapso do governo nacional socialista após a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Esses cientistas (dentre eles Wernher von Braun) e suas famílias foram secretamente levados para os Estados Unidos, sem o conhecimento ou aprovação do Departamento de Estado norte-americano [carece de fontes]. Nenhum deles tinha qualificação para um visto de entrada nos EUA, pois todos haviam servido a causa nazista durante a Segunda Guerra Mundia
